Located in Middlebury, Otter Creek Brewing sold its
first keg of beer in 1991. And within four years,
the brewery had to move its operations to a larger
facility down the road.
Wolaver's Certified Organic Ales was first produced
in 1998 in partnership with Panorama Brewing Company.
All Wolaver's beers are made with no less than 98%
certified organic ingredients, certified organic by
Vermont Organic Farmers. In May of 2002, the Wolaver
family purchased Otter Creek Brewing, which remains
a family owned Vermont company and produces all Otter
Creek and Wolaver's brands for distribution throughout
the country.
