Precision Bioassay

Precision Bioassay is a small and growing statistical consulting firm specializing in methods for biological assays (bioassay) of pharmaceutical proteins and vaccines. We are working to transform bioassay by making it easy for industry laboratories to implement good statistical methods for bioassay. This includes work on designs for manual or robotic assays and analysis methods using mixed linear and nonlinear models. In addition we are building software tools for internal and client analyses. In our contractual work, we help our industry and government clients solve problems in bioassays. Beyond that, a large fraction of our work is applied statistics research funded by grants and internal R&D funds.

We offer statistical training and consulting services focused on non-clinical issues for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Our emphasis is on bioassay design, development, and validation.  We serve both domestic and international clients including small biotech companies, major pharmaceutical corporations and US government agencies.
